S&S Hydraulic Tappets

S&S hydraulic tappets have optimized plunger assemblies and metering devises to better withstand forces associated with high lift cams and heavy-duty valve springs. S&S lifters for EV engines incorporate a traditional axle and inner race within the roller assembly. The larger inner bearing race allows the use of larger bearing rollers to increase the load carrying surface area of the roller assembly, increasing the life of the roller in high output applications. Available in sets of 4 with or without S&S Travel Limiters installed (use Travel Limiters for aggressive applications; adjustable pushrods required).
