D&D Vortex 4″ Slip-On Mufflers for 1995-2016 Touring Models

These D&D ‘Boss’ series four inch diameter mufflers are supplied with all necessary hardware and are designed for factory headpipes or any headpipe that is designed to accept factory mufflers. Style options include back-cut and slant cut, which follows the saddlebag angle. Wrapped, louvered baffle emits a bassy rumble.

Style options include back-cut (longer at the top) or ‘slant-cut’ (shorter at the top which follows the saddlebag angle). Wrapped, louvered baffle emits a bassy rumble.

This insert raises low end torque while not sacrificing sound level.  It does drop the high end horsepower level slightly on big inch motors (on smaller engines it doesn’t affect hp) and changes the tone of the muffler a bit making it sound more like a deeper version of a Rinehart or RC muffler.
